What an Audi service history report really looks like

Selected entries from the English-language reports supplied for this project. The uploader describes these as UK vehicles; the PDFs do not themselves show a UK registration or independently establish market origin.

Example 1 · Audi TT (type 8J)

A recorded service is more than a stamp

The 37-page source contains invoice and maintenance entries. The visit on 15 July 2024 shows a reading of 70,548 and records specific tasks.

15 July 2024

Inspection, brake fluid service, spark plugs and dust and pollen filter.

All-wheel drive

The same entry explicitly lists replacement of oil for the AWD coupling.

What to verify

An invoice entry is evidence of logged workshop work. It does not by itself establish every earlier service or the present condition.

Source note: The source says “Mileage: 70548” without specifying a unit. We preserve the raw reading. VIN, order and invoice numbers are withheld.

Example 2 · Audi type 4GC

Digital maintenance and other visits are separate

On 11 November 2021 the 9-page report lists a Standard Maintenance Service at 125,739, with transmission oil, diesel fuel filter, air cleaner and pollen filter as additional work. A separate entry at the same date and reading contains a bodywork comment.

This matters when reviewing a history: do not count every PDF row as another scheduled service. Read the entry type and its work description.

Two more patterns in the supplied reports

A type 8P Audi report records an inspection with oil change on 26 March 2019 at 126,104. A type 8K5 report records a front bumper cover and headlight replacement on 17 September 2018 at 45,325. Repair entries like the latter should be read as recorded work, not as proof of the cause or extent of any incident.

How to use these examples when buying

  1. Match the full VIN in the original record with the car and its documents.
  2. Read service and repair entries separately; compare dates and readings in order.
  3. Ask for invoices for work carried out outside the accessible digital record.
  4. For a UK-registered car, compare the readings with the free GOV.UK MOT history.

These samples show possible report detail. They do not establish the available fields, country coverage or number of entries for another Audi. The complete unredacted PDFs are not published because they contain vehicle identifiers and workshop references.

Evidence: user-supplied Audi TT type 8J vehicle-history PDF (37 pages), Audi type 4GC service-history PDF (9 pages), type 8P report (17 pages) and type 8K5 report (25 pages). Entries transcribed and checked 22 September 2026; vehicle identification withheld.
